Parallel18 is a Puerto Rico accelerator launched in 2015 by the Puerto Rico Science, Technology & Research Trust. Its P18 program invests $100K per startup via a SAFE. The program runs as a 4-week virtual due-diligence Phase Zero followed by a 16-week curriculum in San Juan focused on sales, operations and fundraising. It takes Puerto Rican and international startups under three years old that have traction, and they must be authorized to do business in Puerto Rico. Parallel18 also runs BioLeap, a life sciences incubator, and Xpand, a scale-up program.
