SOSV is a deep-tech venture firm that makes about 60 pre-seed investments a year through three resident programs: HAX in Newark (hard tech), SOSV NY (health and engineering biology, with wet labs) and SOSV SF (all deep tech). The NY and SF programs were called IndieBio until a March 2026 rebrand; founders get lab and workspace residency of up to six months.
